Video: BMW Previews The ActiveE Electric Concept At Detroit Auto Show

BMW has released a video, shot on location at the Detroit Auto Show this year, showing off its newly announced ActiveE electric concept, which is based on the 1 Series coupe model.

It uses an electric motor, placed on the rear axle, which develops 170 HP and 184 lb-ft of torque, taking the car from 0 to 60 mph in less than nine seconds, and up to an electronically-limited 90 mph.
