By Auto News Log • January 15th, 2010

The Tokyo Auto Salon is in full swing and you’ll be sure to find the latest greatest in the aftermarket tuning options from Asia.

Toyota has revealed that it will launch several packages under the G Sports label, for several of its models. The Toyota FT-86 is shining as the centerpiece and main attraction of the Toyota exhibit at the show.

No official details have been given about performance as of yet. Rumors have it that Toyota and its tuning partner, Gazoo, have turbocharged the Subaru-developed 2.0-liter boxer engine and have fitted a top-notch body kit on the coupe.

This package consists of a restyled front and rear bumper, side skirts, enlarged wheel arches and a carbon fiber hood with air vents. The FT-86 G Sports concept is sitting on a set of 19-inch alloy wheels, Potenza RE050 tires and a pair of Recaro seats inside.
