Cadillac posted total sales for February of 9,273, up 32 percent from the same month last year, as SRX continued to make impressive gains in the compact luxury crossover segment.

Completely redesigned for 2010, the new SRX has quickly established Cadillac among the leaders in the luxury crossover segment, one of the luxury market’s strongest categories. SRX has been praised by reviewers for its style and performance.

“Being a crossover, the SRX offers utility along with its good looks,” according to a recent review by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “Driving the SRX was a pleasure.”

Cadillac also added last year the CTS Sport Wagon, combining the space of a wagon with the award-winning design of the CTS sedan. CTS is accelerating its pace with a total sales increase of 5 percent in February, compared to January, and a retail sales increase of 16 percent in February, compared to January.

Cadillac will launch this spring a CTS Coupe and add a V-Series high-performance model of the new sports coupe in the summer.

Escalade and Escalade ESV also had strong months, up 15 percent and 33 percent, respectively, in total sales for February, compared to the same month last year.
