With Help From NASCAR® Stars Tony Stewart and Greg Biffle, Two Small Business Finalists Will Compete For The ‘Official Small Business of NASCAR,
Courtesy of Office Depot’ Title And A Chance To Win $1 Million This Weekend

Rose Berger (pictured), owner of Professional Cleaning Service in Greer, S.C., is one of two finalists in the 2010 “Official Small Business of NASCAR, Courtesy of Office Depot” sweepstakes. Her small business logo will be featured on NASCAR star Tony Stewart’s No. 14 Office Depot Chevy during Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series™ AAA 400 race at Dover International Speedway. If Stewart wins the race, Berger will take home $1 million.

Mike Pagano (pictured right), owner of PaganoPhoto – Photos by Mike Pagano in Cedar Brook, N.J., is one of two finalists in the 2010 “Official Small Business of NASCAR, Courtesy of Office Depot” sweepstakes. His small business logo will be featured on NASCAR star Greg Biffle’s No. 16 3M Ford during Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series™ AAA 400 race at Dover International Speedway. If Biffle (pictured left) wins the race, Pagano will take home $1 million.

Boca Raton, Fla., – Office Depot® (NYSE: ODP), the Official Office Products Partner of NASCAR®, in partnership with 3M®, a fellow Official NASCAR Partner, has announced the two small businesses finalists in the sixth annual “Official Small Business of NASCAR, Courtesy of Office Depot” sweepstakes.

Rose Berger, owner of Professional Cleaning Service in Greer, S.C., and Mike Pagano, owner of PaganoPhoto – Photos by Mike Pagano in Cedar Brook, N.J., were introduced as the sweepstakes finalists last night during a special segment on SPEED’s “NASCAR Race Hub” program. Tony Stewart, driver of the No. 14 Office Depot/Old Spice Chevrolet, and Greg Biffle, driver of the No. 16 3M Ford, joined the finalists on-air.

Stewart and Biffle will each feature one finalist’s small business logo on their respective race cars during the nationally televised NASCAR Sprint Cup Series™ AAA 400 race at Dover (Del.) International Speedway this weekend (Sunday, Sept. 26, 1 p.m. EDT, ESPN). Berger, 52, was randomly paired with Stewart, while Pagano, 46, was matched with Biffle.

The small business featured on the highest-finishing driver’s car at the end of Sunday’s race will be named the 2010 “Official Small Business of NASCAR, Courtesy of Office Depot.” Additionally, if Stewart or Biffle win the race, the small business featured on the winning car will take home $1 million. As finalists, both Berger and Pagano receive a $10,000 small business makeover from Office Depot* and a VIP experience this weekend at Dover International Speedway.

“Building a successful small business takes a lot of hard work, and it’s great to be able to reward small business owners for their dedication,” said Stewart, who is a successful entrepreneur with 13 small businesses of his own. “Greg (Biffle) and I are definitely ready to battle it out this weekend on their behalf. We both want to deliver that $1 million prize with a win…and the bragging rights that come with it!”

Stewart and Biffle each have two career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series™ victories at Dover International Speedway. Biffle won at the track – also known as “The Monster Mile” – in 2005 and 2008, while Stewart swept both NASCAR Sprint Cup Series™ races at Dover in 2000.

“This weekend is going to be pretty exciting because Office Depot and 3M have created an incredible opportunity with this year’s ‘Official Small Business of NASCAR” sweepstakes,” Biffle said. “As a small business owner myself, I want to do a great job for the small business featured on my car and hopefully give them a shot at the $1 million prize.”

Meet The Finalists: Rose Berger, Owner of Professional Cleaning Service
Rose Berger, who is an avid NASCAR fan, started Professional Cleaning Service in 1995 as a family-run business in Greer, S.C. All three of Berger’s daughters work for the full-service cleaning company in some capacity. In fact, her eldest daughter, Jessica, recently opened the company’s first satellite office in Columbia, S.C., and will travel with her mother to Dover International Speedway for a VIP experience this weekend.

Berger learned about the “Official Small Business of NASCAR, Courtesy of Office Depot” sweepstakes when she saw a display in her local Office Depot store. She plans to use her $10,000 small business makeover prize from Office Depot to purchase new buffers and vacuums available from OfficeDepot.com, as well as new computers for her business.

“Being an ‘Official Small Business of NASCAR, Courtesy of Office Depot’ finalist is a great thing for my business, and I hope it will help us move forward and recover from the bad economy,” said Berger, who has had to reduce her staff from 12 to seven over the past year. “It’s been tough – when people have to tighten their belts, cleaning services often get cut. The added attention and exposure from the sweepstakes will be a great reminder to people that we’re still here and ready to help them with their cleaning needs.”

And when it comes to the $1 million prize, Berger said she could hardly imagine it.

“I’m just so excited to see the Professional Cleaning Service logo on Tony Stewart’s No. 14 Office Depot/Old Spice Chevy during the race,” she said. “And if he wins the race and I win $1 million, it would be amazing! I’d probably be in shock. And then I’d pay off my business loans, hire more staff and go to a lot more NASCAR races!”

Meet The Finalists: Mike Pagano, Owner of PaganoPhoto – Photos by Mike Pagano
For Mike Pagano, being a finalist in the “Official Small Business of NASCAR, Courtesy of Office Depot” sweepstakes is a chance to prepare his small business for the future. The father of two has nurtured his passion for photography on evenings and weekends while also working full-time as a Supervising Environmental Specialist in the State of New Jersey’s Department of Environmental Protection for the past 23 years. He launched PaganoPhoto as an official business venture in 2009 and plans to make it a full-time endeavor when he retires. Currently, he’s the sole PaganoPhoto employee, but makes it clear that his business wouldn’t work without the frequent help provided by his wife, Gayle, and children, Phillip and Sarah.

Pagano decided to enter the “Official Small Business of NASCAR, Courtesy of Office Depot” sweepstakes after hearing Greg Biffle talk about it during an interview on a local radio station earlier this summer. And appropriately enough, PaganoPhoto was randomly selected for placement on Biffle’s car during this weekend’s race.

“Being a finalist in the ‘Official Small Business of NASCAR, Courtesy of Office Depot’ sweepstakes is a great opportunity for me to expand my business,” said Pagano, who will be joined by his wife at the track. “This photography business is something I’ve always wanted to do, and I really want to get more into it once I retire. The $10,000 small business makeover from Office Depot will enable me to purchase much needed new computer equipment and office furniture for my business, and if Greg wins, the $1 million prize will allow me to retire from my current full-time job and establish my full-time photography business much sooner than otherwise possible!”

Prize Package Overview

The “Official Small Business of NASCAR, Courtesy of Office Depot” sweepstakes finalist prize package includes the following:

· A $10,000 small business makeover from Office Depot (*if applicable, the $1 million payout would negate the $10,000 small business makeover)
· VIP race experience for two at the September 24-26 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series™ race weekend at Dover International Speedway

In addition to the above, the “Official Small Business of NASCAR, Courtesy of Office Depot” sweepstakes winner will receive the use of the “Official Small Business of NASCAR®, Courtesy of Office Depot®” logo for one year, including on company stationery materials (to be printed by the Copy & Print Depot at Office Depot).

Outside of the two finalists, Office Depot allowed even more small business owners to win big this year during the “Official Small Business of NASCAR, Courtesy of Office Depot” sweepstakes. Every day during the promotion window, which ran from June 13 to July 10, one lucky small business owner was randomly selected to receive a $1,000 Office Depot gift card just for entering the sweepstakes.
