Nissan GT-R FIA GT1 Race Car Announced

Rumors have been circulating that Nissan is planning on including the GT-R model in the FIA GT1 competition. Good news coming from the Nissan Motorsports International (NISMO) team that a Nissan race car will indeed make an appearance during the 2010 circuit season.

The GT-R will be raced by two teams. The first will be the Sumo Power GT Team from the UK and the second the Swiss Racing Team. The GT-R will feature the 5.6-liter naturally aspirated VK56DE V8 engine, which develops 600 HP and 650 Nm of torque mated to a six-speed Ricardo transmission.
