Mopar® Drag Paks Rack Up More Class Wins at Jegs Northern SPORTSnationals

Carey Bales and Doug Duell added their names to the long list of Mopar® Dodge Challenger Drag Pak drivers to earn wins in class eliminations at NHRA events. The pair of Mopar-powered racers claimed class wins at the Jegs Northern SPORTSnationals at National Trail Raceway near Columbus, Ohio on Saturday, Sept. 25.

Bales, of Lebanon, Ind., brought home the D/SA class win in his Mopar Dodge Challenger Drag Pak and also qualified No. 1 overall in Stock Eliminator with a 10.322-second elapsed time (ET). Fellow Mopar Drag Pak driver Doug Duell, of Newburgh, Ind., earned the A/SA class win. Duell advanced all the way to the semifinals in overall Stock eliminations.

Other Mopar-powered Sportsman drivers scoring Stock Eliminator class wins at the event were Tom Kreeber of East Greenburgh, N.Y., who took the B/SA class win in his 1962 Max Wedge Sport Fury with a 10.24 ET at 129 mph. Mike Farrell of East Nassau, N.Y. triumphed in the F/SA class with a 10.96/120 mph run in his 1971 Dodge Challenger.
