Momentum Race Group Gears Up for Miller Motorsports Park Season Finale

By Auto News Log • August 26th, 2010

Having run at the front at the last two events, Momentum looks to finish there in Utah.

The last two GRAND-AM events have been up and down for Momentum Race Group and their Momentum Autosport Camaro GS.Rs. Running in the top 5 for the first half of the race at Mid-Ohio, before losing the car to an incident with a fellow competitor, and then a solid drive to second by talented Ryan Lewis at New Jersey only to be thwarted by an engine expiration. The whole team at Momentum Race Group is excited about the final event of the year at Miller Motorsports Park back again with drivers Jordon Musser and Ryan Lewis.

“It has been a learning year for Momentum Race Group. Although the final results haven’t shown what we are capable of, we have run with the best and know that a podium finish is just a matter of a little more time and luck. My whole crew has worked hard and it seems like just yesterday we unloaded our brand new Momentum Autosport Camaro GS.Rs in Daytona. Through the season we have really developed the cars and I am very excited about bringing many things we have learned racing at the top level of production sports cars to a line of products for customers that own 2010 Camaro street cars and those weekend warriors racing SCCA/NASA etc,” said MRGs Team Principle Jordon Musser.

“Most of what is going on at the shop is really about next year. We know how close we have come to a podium and we have put a lot into this last race and consider it to be the final “lesson” of the year before we start tearing the cars down and rebuilding them for next season,” said MRG’s Team Principle Ray Butler.

Momentum Race Group campaigns two Riley built Camaro GS.Rs in the GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series in the “GS” class, and is also home to Momentum Autosports – a full-service high performance race and street car design, engineering and fabrication facility located in Lewisville, Texas.

MRG offers “Arrive & Drive” seats in 2010 Riley Camaros for individual races, as well as full season rides. Interested parties should contact Jordon Musser through the Momentum Race Group website at www.MomentumRaceGroup.com.
