Lotus Announces Evora Cup Race Car

Lotus has a solid tradition on the various racing circuits and has decided to release a special track edition race car of the Evora.

The Evora Cup race car will see the Toyota V6 upgraded to a 4.0-liter configuration, outputting 395 HP and will be integrated with a race-spec Cima six-speed sequential gearbox. High end braking and suspension components have also been implemented, and Lotus stripped 440 pounds off the weight of the stock model. The Evora Cup comes in on the scale at 2,600 pounds.

The Evora Cup’s first race will be at the Autosport International Show in Birmingham, England, then onto the FIA GT4 competition and in its own Evora Cup Series. The estimated price tag is around $195,432.
