The Rolex Series will test at VIR on Oct. 19-20, beginning the transition to the Continental tires which will be used exclusively in the series in 2011. Both days run from 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., and will include combined, DP and GT only, and Pro-Am sessions. Walk-up tickets are available for $10 per day.

These are the only scheduled official tests before the 2011 season, which begins with the Roar Before the Rolex 24 testing on Jan. 7-9 at Daytona International Speedway. The 49th running of the Rolex 24 At Daytona will be held on Jan. 29-30, marking the first professional race held on the newly repaved speedway.
