GRAND-AM Road Racing: Mitchum Partner At Super Chevy Show

PETERSBURG, Va. – GRAND-AM Road Racing and Mitchum Motorsports will team up at this weekend’s Super Chevy Show, April 17-18 at Virginia Motorsports Park in Petersburg, Va.

They will be promoting the Bosch Engineering 250, Round 4 on the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16, set for Saturday, April 24, at Virginia International Raceway in Danville.

Mitchum Motorsports will display the No. 62 Camaro that will race in the April 24 Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge event at VIR. Driver Devin Cates will be at the Super Chevy Show on both Saturday and Sunday to sign autographs, while other team principles will be on hand to give tech talks.

Fans are encouraged to visit the GRAND-AM Fan Zone throughout the weekend at Super Chevy to experience the race simulator, get free photos with the Mitchum Motorsports Camaro, enter contests and receive free premiums.

The event will be the first Super Chevy Show of the year on the East Coast, annually one of the largest stops on the 10-race national touring series. Super Chevy is a carnival of motorsports, the show offers sportsman and pro class drag racing, a car show and a popular swap meet.

The Bosch Engineering 250 takes the green flag at noon ET on April 24, with flag-to-flag SPEED coverage beginning at 2 p.m. For more information, visit www.GRAND-AM.com.
