Ferrari 458 Italia Auction To Benefit Haiti Relief

Los Angeles – The first Ferrari 458 Italia to arrive in the United States will be auctioned tonight to support the Clinton Foundation and CMMB (Catholic Medical Mission Board) efforts in Haiti. Ferrari is focusing its ongoing commitment to social responsibility to a cause that not only is close to everybody’s hearts but that is still in need of tremendous support . The company has nominated these two organizations, which both have strong ties to Haiti, for delivering the highest caliber of aid to the people of Haiti now and in the long-term.

The Ferrari event will take place tonight at 7pm (Pacific time) at a private venue in the Holmby Hills area of Los Angeles. Ferrari will be represented by Piero Ferrari, Deputy Chairman and son of Enzo Ferrari, Amedeo Felisa, Ferrari CEO, and Marco Mattiacci, Ferrari North America CEO. Grammy-Award winner John Mayer will perform during the evening, and director and Ferrari collector Michael Bay will be recognised for his long-lasting friendship with the company. The auction of the first Ferrari 458 Italia in North America will be conducted by the Wall Street Journal automotive journalist and Pulitzer Prize-winner Dan Neil.
