The Victory Muscle Cars Story… from Rob Johnstone and Tom Pendl, founders of Victory Muscle Cars.

We wanted to take a moment to explain the back story of Victory Muscle Cars and how we got to where we are today. So here it is… the Victory Muscle Cars story:

First and foremost, Victory Muscle Cars represents a vision and dream rooted in the appreciation and passion of all things motor sport related. We are auto and motoring enthusiasts at heart.

We met years back while attending Marian University in Indianapolis, Indiana. A truly awesome city for two auto enthusiasts to have met. After our first year of living on campus at Marian University we packed our bags and moved a few blocks down the street to Speedway, Indiana with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway basically in our backyard.

When not in classes we both spent most of our time tinkering with our cars and motorcycles, hanging out at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Raceway Park, thumbing through endless volumes of Trader Paper and Wheels & Deals, reading neverending issues of auto mags and books and most importantly mapping out a dream of building an organization for auto enthusiasts by auto enthusiasts.

Over the years before and since college we have owned a wide variety of cars, motorcycles, boats and trucks. We’ve had the great pleasure of owning Mustangs, Corvettes, Jeeps, 442′s, MG’s, Chevelles, Camaros, Novas, BMWs, Porsches, Lexus, Mercedes, street rods, Harleys, Ducatis, Yamahas, super bikes… the list could go on and on.

Born out of a lifelong passion for cars, we have put together Victory Muscle Cars to focus and build on our dream by bringing a unique experience to auto enthusiasts by auto enthusiasts. We specialize in classic, sports, muscle and luxury cars of all types.

Our goals and commitment are to provide high-quality automotive photography, outstanding and well maintained performance vehicles, automotive related content, collector car auction news and a dedication to service rooted in the spirit of automotive traditions. Bottom line, cars are our business and life.

We’re doing all this simply because … we want to build the best experience for automotive enthusiasts by automotive enthusiasts. So that’s it … the Victory Muscle Cars story in a nutshell!
