Mecum Auctions 2012 Spring Classic Spotlight: 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Fastback (Lot T184)
Rust free, unrestored and entirely original, this 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Fastback hails from the car-friendly climes of Arizona and presents in astounding condition. Still finished in its factory-applied Red paint, this rare car brings with it major extras: the 428/335 HP R-code Cobra Jet Ram Air V-8, complete with Shaker scoop, heat shield, S-tube and snorkel, all original to the car; factory air conditioning, automatic transmission, and yes, even the original exhaust system. Extensive documentation includes the original build sheet and a Marti Report.
