Mack Reeves’ Mopar Challenger Drag Pak took home Best Appearing Award honors at the NHRA Division 2 race at Bradenton (Fla.) Motorsports Park on Feb. 11–13.

The Deleon Springs, Fla., resident took part in his first outing in his Mopar Challenger Drag Pak. He qualified mid-field with an elapsed time that was .712 seconds under the vehicle’s index. Reeves exited in the first round but was nonetheless extremely pleased with his Bradenton outing and the award bestowed upon his stunning Mopar-powered ride.

“Winning the Best Appearing award made all the hard work preparing the Challenger worth it,” said Reeves. “I’m in my second racing career, which started in 2000. I raced in the late 1960s but children and all the related expenses put that on hold until 2000. All the kids are educated and on their own, so now I get to play again.”
