Ferrari Brings the Challenge and Formula 1 to the Motor Show
Maranello – Tomorrow at the on-track arena of the thirty fifth Bologna International Motor Show, the world of Ferrari will be represented with a busy day of racing and displays.
The event’s sporting programme will feature a three race run for some of the F430s from the Italian and European Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli series, the famous one-make championship which has just finished its eighteenth season. The arena in area 48 will also be the scene of the traditional demonstration from Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro: for Luca Badoer, who will be at the wheel, this will be his farewell to an amazing thirteen year career as a Ferrari test driver.
Badoer will do some hot laps at the wheel of an F60, the car with which the Maranello team contested the Formula 1 World Championship in 2009, the year in which Badoer raced in his only two Grands Prix for Ferrari. Following on from that, there will be a pit stop demonstration to thrill all the enthusiastic fans.
