Mecum Auctions 2012 Spring Classic Spotlight: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS 400 CI, 4-Speed (Lot W195)
Correctly restored to as-original with the exception of some basic engine mods, this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS enjoys many desirable features. The Hugger Orange coupe has restored front and rear suspension and a heavy duty driveline comprising a 400 CI small block using a mild cam, Holley 4-barrel on an aluminum intake and Mallory 6A ignition, a 4-speed manual and 12-bolt Positraction third member. Bucket seats, a console with Hurst shifter and gauges and a tachometer fill out the standard Black interior. Quick ratio power steering and front disc brakes are part of the SS package, here accompanied by front and rear spoilers, SS wheels, hood badging and stripes.
