By Auto News Log • January 28th, 2012

I have been collecting Classic Cars for more than 40 years.

Since ATCL (Automobile & Touring Club of Lebanon) became the representative of FIVA in Lebanon I have been in charge at the Head of the FIVA Commission in our club and have organized many Classic Cars Events in Lebanon for the past 10 Years.

I am a member of the FIVA Commission Histoire & Patrimoine (History & Heritage) for the past 5 years.

I was appointed as one of the judges of the Concours d’Elegance of the 40th Anniversary of the FFVE (Federation Francaise des Vehicules d’Epoque) in 2007, an event which gathered more than 6,000 classic vehicles from France and Europe.

In July 2011 I participated in the organization of the 1st Classic Car Show
in Lebanon which lasted 24 days, visited by more than 30,000 visitors.

I was invited to the Kuwait Concours d’Elegance for the past 2 years with an international jury appointed to judge more than 60 cars of very high standard some of which were prize winners at Pebble Beach and Villa d’Este Concours d’Elegance . This Jury awarded one of my cars a Mercedes 230 Cabrio B the 3rd Prize in the Category of the 1930s. I am invited again in February 2012 to the 3rd Kuwait Concours d’Elegance and honored to be appointed as a judge.

I was honored to be appointed as judge at Emirates Classic Car Festival Concours d’Elegance for the past 3 years, and again in 2011.

The excitement is building in the collector car and auto enthusiast world with the upcoming Kuwait Concours d’Elegance taking place February 15th – 18th, 2012.
