2012 Kuwait Concours Judge Spotlight: Fersan Haddad – Lebanon

Fersan Haddad was born in Lebanon and graduated in Business Administration. He is fluent in Arabic, French, English, and German.

His professional experience includes representing Michelin France in Kuwait and Iraq, and as well as having been a consultant for numerous French companies in the Middle East and for the Al-Masaood Group in UAE, Lebanon and Syria amongst others. Since 1984, he is the owner and Managing Director of a classic car restoration workshop and painting laboratory in Beirut, Lebanon.

He is also Regional Sales & Marketing Manager for Advanced Modular Vehicles, Abu-Dhabi-UAE, (co-owned by H.E. Abdallah Al Masaood), and designer & manufacturer of concept tactical mobile utility vehicles MUV “Al-Dhabi”. He conducted negotiations with Renault Trucks Defense “RTD” in order to co-produce the vehicle. The project was finally bought by “RTD” and produced under the name of “Sherpa”.

In 2005, Haddad co-founded the Emergency & Modular Vehicles of the Middle East, “EMVME” SARL, a company that converts standard vehicles into ambulances, mobile clinics and blood donation units.

His extra curricular activities include judging several classic car and automobile d’Elegance exhibitions.

He is an active member in a large number of automotive professional websites and magazines, a Member of the Porsche Club in Lebanon, founding member of “LCVA” the Lebanese Classic Vehicles Association and co-owner of Car Buyers Market Magazine.

The excitement is building in the collector car and auto enthusiast world with the upcoming Kuwait Concours d’Elegance taking place February 15th – 18th, 2012.
