2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe All Set For The Detroit Auto Show

By Auto News Log • January 5th, 2010

The Detroit Auto Show is just days away and Cadillac is all set to show off the 556 hp sportscar the CTS-V Coupe. Bringing almost the exact performance from the CTS-V sedan including the 6.2-liter supercharged V8, but with two less doors, the CTS-V coupe will definitely tear up the streets.

“The CTS-V Coupe marries our most potent and sophisticated technology with our most dramatic production design,” said Bryan Nesbitt, Cadillac general manager. “This combination of visual and technical attributes is designed to create a very compelling choice for luxury sports car consumers.”

Tom when are you going to order one?

I’m totally digging the CTS and CTS-V Coupes. In my opinion the CTS Coupe is the Cadillac XLR’s and XLR-V’s replacement as 2009 is its last production year. The bad news from what I’m hearing is the CTS Coupe will not have a convertible where all XLR’s are hard-top converts. So, we may end up with an XLR in the Victory collection here very soon.
